​WELLNESS SESSIONS

The goal of Whole Horse Wellness Sessions is help your horse be their healthiest and be able to perform at their peak. In order to achieve this, I will evaluate all components of your horse’s health to ensure they are the healthiest and happiest they can be. This includes evaluation of the physical body, emotional state, nutrition, fitness/training, saddle fit, hoof balance, and tooth balance. For physical and emotional health, I will utilize my unique method called the LISTEN Approach: Leading by Intuitive Stillness To Equus Neutral. Our bodies and our horse’s bodies, are functioning most optimally and are healthiest when they are in a state of balance... neutral. We can also assist them and truly hear what the horse needs when we evaluate and treat them from a state of neutral. It is a combination of modalities such as craniosacral, osteopathic techniques, myofascial release, and acupressure may be used to help your horse’s body find balance and wellness. I will focus on addressing deep pain and dysfunction for a customized therapeutic approach to wellness.
During these sessions, we will also discuss nutrition, fitness/ training, evaluate saddle fit, hoof balance, and tooth balance. These are all important factors in your horse’s health and wellness that are often overlooked. Having been a horsewoman for over 30 years, I have studied and worked with many top hoof care practitioners and saddle makers over the years, but the BEST teachers have been the horses. Many times, I will partner with trainers, farriers, and veterinarians to discuss what is best for your horse. It takes a team of practitioners working together to do the best for your horse.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A SESSION?
Sessions are typically about an hour long. We will need a quiet, covered place to work. Please be sure that your horse is mostly clean (No mud or manure covered horses, please!). At the end of the session, you will be provided with a detailed session report as well as a plan for moving forward. Some horses will need more frequent, acute visits, but the goal is to get their bodies to a place of maintenance visits.​
WHAT IS MY SERVICE AREA?
Typically, I will travel a radius of 2 hours from Canton, Texas. However, please contact me. On occasion, I am available to travel further for a minimum number of horses.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A 48-Hour notice will be required for any cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less that 48-Hour notice will be required to pay the full session fee (including all horses scheduled).
Each horse's body has a very unique blueprint to balanced wellness and health. To access that blueprint, we must work WITH the body. True healing cannot be forced.
To truly achieve deep healing, a connection must be made in order to obtain permission to facilitate the exact healing a body needs. By allowing God to work through us, we partner with the body to help it achieve deep healing and the balance it inherently wants to achieve.
