WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A SESSION?
Sessions are typically about an hour long. We will need a quiet, covered place to work. Please be sure that your horse is mostly clean (No mud or manure covered horses, please!). At the end of the session, you will be provided with a detailed session report as well as a plan for moving forward. Some horses will need more frequent, acute visits, but the goal is to get their bodies to a place of maintenance visits. WHAT IS MY SERVICE AREA? Typically, I will travel a radius of 2 hours from Canton, Texas. However, please contact me. On occasion, I am available to travel further for a minimum number of horses. |
PERSONALIZED REHABILITATION PLANSWhether your horse is coming back from an injury, healing from compensation patterns, or you want your horse to be stronger and move more biomechanically correct, I can help. I offer custom rehabilitation plans to fit your needs. For this service, you will come to my facility for in-person observation or submit a video through email. In person visits will include evaluation, the development of specific exercises with a plan, as well as a session of completing those exercise with your horse so you can understand exactly how to do them. The exercises can be completed for horses who are only cleared to do groundwork or ridden.
**This service is offered as an add on to a Whole Horse Wellness Session.

VIRTUAL WELLNESS CONSULTATIONSRemote Wellness Consultations are available for those outside of the service area. A short video and summary of your horse’s current state of health and any concerns is requested. A discussion over the phone and a detailed report of what was discussed will be sent to the client.

Melanie haire misenheimerclient"Amy has been working on 2 of my horses and I'm seeing great results. My gelding was very restricted in his movement and very sensitive to touch. He is moving more free than I've seen him in years and seems to enjoy being touched now. Amy is very knowledgeable about supplements/herbs that can help with their healing. She takes a whole mind and body approach to healing your horses. I would highly recommend her for your equine needs."
